How Do I Do a Vitamin C Flush?
CALIBRATION FIRST:
Your body uses vitamin C for many important biological and detoxification reactions. Individual daily needs vary in terms of the amount (typically grams). You will first need to figure out how much vitamin C your body needs for proper optimization of function. We call this “calibration.”
It can take several hours to saturate your vitamin C need, so it is best to allow yourself a day where you are not committed to any activities or work. Dissolve 1.5g of AMLA-C in two (or more) ounces of room temperature filtered water first thing in the morning. Let it stop fizzing, then try to finish it in less than two minutes on an empty stomach. You will then take the next dose 15 minutes later. Remember to record the dose that was taken and when it was taken. The total amount you need is again based on how much and how quickly your body uses it up to promote many health benefits. If you are not “healthy” then you may need more than 1.5g every 15 minutes. A slightly ill person will need to begin with 3g in four or more ounces of water every 15 minutes. A severely ill person may need to begin with 6g in eight ounces of water every 15 minutes.
If you do not feel your stomach churning or rumbling after five doses, you can double your initial dose and continue.
You will want to continue taking the AMLA-C every 15 minutes until you reach a watery stool or an enema-like effect. If you reach a point where your stools are just loose you will want to continue until they are watery. After you notice watery stools you will want to stop.
If your calibration dosage is more than 50 grams of vitamin C, then consume 10% of the total that you used that day in the early evening. For example, if you took 60g of vitamin C, then take 6g at 5pm.
DAILY CONSUMPTION AFTER CALIBRATION:
After your calibration flush you will want to consume 60-70% of the total amount of AMLA-C you consumed during the flush to induce watery stools. It is best to space out the doses so you’re taking it three times a day. If 15g of vitamin C were needed to induce the flush, then take around 9g per day. Taking 3 grams morning, noon, and night is best. The typical amount needed for a healthy person is 2-8 grams per day.
